Mash-up Trailer: SUPER 8 1/2
obvious, sure, but this isn’t quite as one-note as it might first appear. if anything, the collision of SUPER 8 and 8 1/2 just reinforces my feeling that the former missed a major opportunity to explore the creatively-induced perils of growing up in favor of some standard-issue daddy stuff that only clicks in a final shot that requires an entire unnecessary subplot to arrange… okay, rant aborted. enjoy this reasonably witty slice of whatever.
